Aero Precision Signs Agreement with Task Aerospace
LIVERMORE, Calif., May 17, 2017
Aero Precision Industries LLC (“Aero Precision”) announced today it has entered into an Agreement with Task Aerospace to provide ejection seat maintenance and CAD/PAD (Cartridge Actuated Devices / Propellant Actuated Devices) to support international users.
Task Aerospace is located in Mesa, Arizona and is a leading maintainer of ejection seat and aircraft mounted egress components, aircrew flight equipment, survival equipment, and CAD/PAD (pyrotechnics) equipment. Per customer request, Egress Systems are maintained at the customer’s designated facilities or at the Task Aerospace Egress Shop.
“We are excited to work together with Task Aerospace to provide ejection seat maintenance, overhaul and service life extension, as well as CAD/PAD support for F-16, F-15, F-4, F-5, T-38, T-37, and A-4 international operators. As an example, F-16 ACES II seats have been used by international users for over 30 years and require important maintenance other than routine Phase Inspection. After decades of flying we are receiving a significant amount of request for ACES II seat maintenance and CAD/PAD support.” said Ertugrul Turhal, VP, BD&TS for Aero Precision.
“The founders of Task Aerospace have decades of experience in the design, test, management and maintenance of ejection seats, CAD/PAD, and Aircrew Flight equipment. Task Aerospace is a qualified service provider of ejection seats and aircraft egress systems. In addition, Task has developed a RAMP (Requirements and Management Program) Software package for CAD/PAD Management for international CAD/PAD users. The RAMP Software package provides an accurate procurement forecast and eliminates costly ordering errors and ensures on-time deliveries. We look forward to working with Aero Precision for all international ejection seat maintenance and CAD/PAD requirements.” said Bob LaFrance, President of Task Aerospace.
