Press Release

LIVERMORE, Calif., April 9, 2013 – Aero Precision, a Greenwich AeroGroup company announced today that “Crane Aerospace / Hydro-Aire (Crane) has recently notified the United States Air Force, Lockheed Martin Aeronautics and Aero Precision that as of 31 August, 2013, Crane will discontinue logistic support of our C-130/L-100 Mark II Analog Antiskid Brake Control System LRU’s and components.

Crane says this decision is a result of the increasing difficulty to support the older, out of date Mark II Analog System that is the current B-E-H configuration. Crane’s newer and significantly more advanced Mark IV Digital Brake Control System is already being flown by all the world’s C-130 J user community and is in stock and readily available through Aero Precision for upgrade to foreign military and commercial customers’ legacy C-130 Aircraft. The USAF is already in the process of upgrading their entire fleet of legacy C-130E/H aircraft, and these same Mark IV upgrade kits are currently in production and available for the Foreign Military and Commercial C-130 operators as well. Aero Precision, as Crane Aerospace’s exclusive stocking distributor of Mark IV systems will be happy to meet your request.

Aero Precision is also exclusive on Eaton's 3000 psi Brake Metering Valve. The valve is a pre-requisite to the Mark IV Antiskid upgrade and is in stock and available.
