Livermore, Calif., 16 September, 2013 － Aero Precision, a Greenwich AeroGroup company, announced today the Royal Netherlands Air Force will be the launch customer for the Crane Aerospace/Hydro-Aire (Crane) Mark IV Antiskid System. Sebnem Flores, Director of Sales Europe at Aero Precision stated, “We are excited that one of our most valued customers is the first international operator to upgrade their fleet with this innovative product.” The install will be completed by the end user (RNLAF) at Eindhoven airbase.
As of 31 August, 2013, Crane discontinued logistic support for the older C-130/L-100 Mark II Analog Antiskid Brake Control System LRU’s and components. The new Mark IV has garnered great interest throughout the worldwide C-130 community and Aero Precision is currently working with several customers on this plug-and-play integration.
Crane’s newer and significantly more advanced Mark IV Digital Brake Control System is already being flown by all the world’s C-130 J user community and is in stock and exclusively available through Aero Precision for upgrade to foreign military and commercial customers’ C-130 aircraft. The USAF has already upgraded over 230 C-130E/H aircraft to date.
This new technology has a proven track record of enhancing operational safety and efficiency along with reduction of maintenance and troubleshooting hours due to the new Fault Isolation Display Unit. Aero Precision is also exclusive on Eaton's 3000 psi Brake Metering Valve, the valve is a pre-requisite to the Mark IV Antiskid upgrade and is in stock and available.
