Aero Precision Signs Exclusive Distribution Agreement with Aerolyte Systems Clemco Industries Corp

LIVERMORE, Calif., October 20, 2015

Aero Precision, a Greenwich AeroGroup company, announced today the signing of an exclusive distribution agreement with Clemco Industries for distribution of its aviation product line, Aerolyte Systems. The agreement supports foreign military operators and includes the full complement of Aerolyte Dry Stripping Equipment: dry stripping blast rooms, blast cabinets, sodium bicarbonate systems, mobile and stationary stripping and containment equipment and Clemco’s full operator protection product line.

“We are excited to see Aero Precision represent our products in the worldwide military market,” said Clemco President Arnie Sallaberry. “International users will quickly realize the benefit of our wide range of aerospace-grade dry stripping equipment, safe for use on today’s most delicate aircraft surfaces.”

“Exercising the benefit of Clemco Aerolyte’s blast equipment, our military customers will have the ability to repair and prevent corrosion, as well as safely remove existing paint,” said International Business Development Manager of Aero Precision Nathaniel Hoffman.

Aerolyte Systems pioneered the technology to use plastic and non-aggressive media for dry stripping military aircraft in the early 1980s. In addition to plastic media, the technology has advanced to employ a wide range of lightweight media for cleaning, stripping and deflashing with environmentally-responsible media such as corn starch, wheat starch, and sodium bicarbonate.

The Aerolyte product line ranges from small portable blast machines, to manual and automated cabinets, to preassembled and custom engineered full-aircraft blast facilities – all used with non-aggressive media.
