Aero Precision began as Aero Precision Industries (API), Inc., with its founder Evren Ergin in 1993 by providing customer focused solutions that supported three platforms (F-16, F-4, F-5) in a single country. In 1998, API signed as a distributor for Honeywell Aerospace, its first OEM partner. In 2001 API added Zodiac Aerospace’s ESCO division to support Turkey and in 2004 added Hamilton Sundstrand for several additional countries. Soon after, the business model shifted to OEM based military aftermarket component management. During the 2000’s eight new OEMs were added, strengthening API’s distribution channels and adding support for F-15, F-18, T-50, C-130, CN-235, C-17, P-3, UH-60, CH-47, CH-53, AH-64, and Bell platforms. On July 15th, 2008, API formed a strategic alliance with Dermond Defense & Aerospace (DDA) and continued its expansion of services. In May of 2011, Aero Precision Industries, LLC, was awarded the Presidential “E” Award for Exports by the U.S. Department of Commerce. Greenwich AeroGroup acquired Aero Precision Industries, LLC, on Jan 1st, 2013. In 2016 Aero Precision received the President’s “E” Star Award for expanded export and manpower growth over the past 10 years. Odyssey Investment Partners acquired Aero Precision Industries, DAC International and NASAM operating under Aero Precision Holdings LP.
Customer Focus Business Model
The first priority in Aero Precision is the customer. Aero Precision visits, listens, understands and offers solutions to customers’ problems. Solutions include but are not limited to licensing obsolete parts, providing packages for unique needs and providing engineering support, integration packages etc.

Rich is in his 10th year with Aero Precision. During his tenure with Aero Precision Rich has held roles of increasing levels of responsibility within the organization. Rich joined the company in 2008 as the Vice President of Finance and was promoted to Chief Financial Officer in 2010 overseeing all aspects of finance, treasury, IT, BI, HR and administration. In 2017 Rich was promoted to Chief Operating Officer overseeing all day to day functions of the company. Rich became President of the company in 2018 and is a member of the Board of Directors. Prior to joining Aero Precision Rich held executive level financial and operational positions at Wente Family Estates and The Clarks Companies. Rich began his career at KPMG and is a Certified Public Accountant. He holds a BS in Accounting from Stonehill College.
Sr. Vice President - Regional Sales
Joseph Massucco graduated from St. Michael’s College in Winooski VT – May, 1985. Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and minor in Spanish. Worked at MCI International in Rye Brook, NY 1986. Began in Purchasing for Lear Siegler International Division – Stamford CT in May 1986. After division Aviquipo Inc. was bought by Aerotech World Trade Corp. in May 1998 – moved to the new organization as Manager, General Products Military from 1988 to 1998. In 1995 – Allied Signal appointed Aerotech as a worldwide distributor of Military Customer Support. In June 1998, became Director for General Products Military at Aero Precision Industries, Inc. was primarily responsible for growing the AlliedSignal – later the Honeywell Defense & Space Product Lines internationally and domestically. After three years, beginning in 2001, Aero Precision added South Korea and Taiwan to the International Military Distributorship. In 1999, Joseph Massucco was promoted to Vice-President, Regional Sales.
Angel L. Flores, Jr.
Sr. Vice President of Regional Sales (MESA-Middle East, Europe, South America, Africa)
In his current role, Angel is responsible for all aspects of sales and repairs of military aircraft components for customers in the Middle East, Europe, South America and Africa. Angel has over 26 years of experience in the military aircraft sector and continues his role growing sales in his regions. He has three Regional Directors of Sales reporting to him (Middle East/Africa, Europe, and South America) Angel has a unique blend of experience in aerospace program, product sales and marketing. He is team-oriented leader with a proven record of creating, developing, and implementing multi-national strategic marketing and sales programs. He has extensive skills in international customer relationship management, product marketing, and aircraft maintenance and modifications. He has influenced acquisition decision by briefing foreign government officials and military officers on company products and services, (specifically aircraft sales), fleet modernization, heavy maintenance programs, and product support. He has also developed and led teams in contract negotiations with international military customers as well as domestic manufacturers.
Ertugrul Turhal (E.T.)
Vice President of Technical Support & Business Development
Ertugrul joined the company as a Sales Director in 2003. In 2005 he was appointed VP, Technical Support to allow for the expansion of his technical acumen in support of global sales; his team later expanded to assume Business Development, Projects, new OEM accounts and Marketing duties. Mr. Turhal graduated from the Turkish Air Force (TuAF) Academy as an Aeronautical Engineer in 1979. He worked in air base as Chief of Flight Line and Chief of Quality Control where he led flight maintenance, flight safety and quality activities. He completed his Master of Science degree in Aeronautical Engineering at the USAF Air Force Institute of Technology at WPAFB, OH. He also completed his Business Administration degree from Anatolian University. Mr. Turhal worked four years as Manager of the Depot Level Maintenance Center on various aircraft overhaul programs in Eskisehir. In 1988, he was assigned to the US Government DCMC as QA Engineer for the F-16 production program at TAI (Turkish Aerospace Industries). During his six years at TAI he was responsible for ensuring that all production activities and flight tests met or exceeded US Government contractual terms and conditions. He was subsequently assigned to the F-16 System Program Office at WPAFB in 1995, where he served as the approval authority for all aircraft modification programs. He returned from the US to TUAF HQ as the Director of DLM Programs for F-16, KC-135 and Cougar helicopters until his retirement from TUAF as Colonel in 2002.
Vice President Supply Chain
Michael Hollinger is the Vice President of Global Supply Chain for Aero Precision, Inc. Michael joined Aero Precision in October of 2017. His current responsibilities focus around all aspects of the supply chain from supplier relationships and contracts management to oversight of the warehouse and stockroom. Prior to joining Aero Precision, Michael served in a number of positions with increasing responsibility in the aerospace and defense industry. His experience includes: Director of Global Supply Chain at Unitech Composites, Hayden, ID; Global Supply Chain Director at B/E Aerospace, Everett, Washington; Director of Purchasing and Supply Chain at Zodiac Aerospace, Huntington Beach, California; as well as Contracts Manager at Aery Energy, LLC, Bakersfield, California. Graduating with a B.A. in Supply Chain Management from Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan, Michael is also a Certified Professional Supply Manager (CPCM) through the Institute for Supply Management (ISM) as well as a Certified Purchasing Manager through the Institute for Supply Management (ISM).
Vice President of Human Resources
Kelly joined Aero Precision in 1998 and has held several roles throughout her 20 years in the organization. Starting in Sales Administration, Kelly gained a strong understanding of the company’s foundation and eventually became responsible for Sales Operations and was the lead in the implementation of the ERP system used today. Her position continued to evolve when she managed Trade Compliance including export licensing and training. In 2007, Kelly’s position absorbed the oversight of Human Resources and Payroll where she developed the teams to manage these critical functions. In 2016, Kelly was promoted to Vice President of Human Resources where she currently manages all employee relations and compliance aspects within the organization. As Vice President of Human Resources, Kelly’s primary objective is to strengthen Aero Precision’s workforce with talented and dedicated people while making their employee experience something to be proud of. Kelly graduated from the University of Phoenix with a B.S. in Global Business Management. She also currently holds her Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification through HRCI.
Vice President of Finance and Corporate Controller
Matt has been with Aero Precision for 7 years and has 30 years of accounting and financial experience at public and private companies in various industries. During Matt’s 7 years with Aero Precision he has been a key contributor implementing processes that enable Aero Precision to scale its operations, and integrating acquisitions. Matt has also previously held senior positions at several tech manufacturing and system integration companies including Leica Geosystems HDS, Glimmerglass Networks, and CSC (now DXC Technology). Matt earned a B.S. from California State University Fullerton.
